From the decision · page 1Defendant State of California, Department of Transportation petitions for reconsideration of the Joint Findings, Award and Orders issued by the workers' compensation administrative law judge (WCJ) in this matter on April 27, 2023. In that decision, the WCJ found that applicant sustained injuries to his knees, left shoulder, lumbar spine, right elbow and right arm arising out of and in the course of his employment by defendant as highway maintenance worker on April 30, 2001, May 9, 2001, May 15, 2001, March 29, 2002, June 3, 2005, June 5, 2011, and during the periods March 29, 2001 to March 29, 2002 and November 2000 to June 5, 2011, resulting in permanent total disability and need of further medical treatment.
